Nervous System
Regulation for Anxiety, Trauma, and Stress

Somatic therapy for overwhelm, dysregulation, and the patterns insight alone can’t shift.

1:1 sessions with Alicia Divers in Brooklyn and online

They live in your body—held in your fascia, wired into your nervous system regulation patterns.

You’ve tried to think your way out of it.

But true ease doesn’t come from thinking.

It comes from feeling your way through.

Trauma, overwhelm, and anxiety don’t just live in your thoughts….

1:1 Somatic Sessions
Mind-body coaching and Somatic Experiencing-informed support for anxiety, trauma, stress, and overwhelm — helping your nervous system build capacity for regulation and change.

Somatic Enneagram
A nervous-system-informed approach to understanding your patterns, protective strategies, and embodied habits — so you can practice new ways of relating to yourself, others, and the world.

Teaching & Workshops
Nervous-system-informed teaching for groups, corporations, practitioners, and communities who want practical somatic tools for regulation, resilience, and embodied change.

I work with high-achieving, self-aware people who understand their patterns cognitively—but still feel those patterns in their body and nervous system.

They’ve done the therapy, read the books, and learned the tools.
But anxiety and trauma keep showing up in their chest, their breath, and their gut.
And they’re ready for a new approach — one that works directly with the nervous system.

WHO I WORK WITH

Meet Alicia
Somatic Practitioner

I’m a Somatic Experiencing-informed practitioner offering 1:1 somatic sessions in Brooklyn and online for people navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, overwhelm, and patterns that insight alone hasn’t been able to shift.

My work is grounded in the nervous system and shaped by training in Somatic Experiencing, mind-body coaching, somatic attachment work, spiritual direction, and the Enneagram. In sessions, we slow down enough to listen to what your nervous system is carrying, build capacity for what feels difficult, and support new patterns of regulation, connection, and change.

I bring a warm, relational, trauma-informed presence to this work — supporting you in moving toward more steadiness, aliveness, and trust in yourself.

METHOD/APPROACH

A Gentle Arc for Working with the Nervous System

STEP ONE

Awareness

We begin by noticing the patterns your nervous system has learned — the sensations, emotions, and protective responses.

Resourcing

We build the supports your system needs to feel steadier, safer, and more able to stay present with what feels difficult.

STEP TWO

Repatterning

Through gentle, somatic experiments, we interrupt old loops and practice new responses your body can access in real time.

STEP THREE

Integration

We bring the work into everyday life, so regulation, boundaries, connection, and change become more embodied.

STEP FOUR

THE SOMATIC ENNEAGRAM

A framework for seeing patterns with more compassion.

The Enneagram offers a map for understanding the patterns we live inside — how we protect ourselves, seek connection, respond to stress, and move through the world. The Somatic Enneagram brings that map into the body and nervous system, helping you notice how your type shows up as embodied habits, protective strategies, relational impulses, and automatic responses. As a certified Enneagram practitioner through The Narrative Enneagram, I use this framework in teaching, workshops, and with clients who want to integrate Enneagram awareness into their somatic work.

Client Experiences

  • "After years of talk therapy, I understood my anxiety logically — but no amount of understanding truly made me feel less anxious. As a very Type A, high-strung person, even considering a modality like this felt entirely left-field to me. I am SO glad I gave it a try. I cannot recommend Alicia's services enough."
    —Bella S

  • "I could intellectually understand my patterns, but it never felt like it fueled genuine change. Working with Alicia triggered, again and again, real lightbulb moments and seeds of actual change. I'm a logical person and initially thought somatic work would be a little too woo-woo for me. If you're in the same boat, give it a try. It's life changing."
    - Maggie F

  • "I tend to intellectualize my emotions — none of the schools of thought in psychotherapy had cracked it for me. Working with Alicia has been a life-changing experience. I am finally reconciling with myself by actually feeling emotions. My breath gets immediately deeper as soon as I see her face."
    - Jisoo H
